TOPSOIL

TOPSOIL

Blended on our premesis, our Topsoil is a rich mixture of organic matter and soil with a small percentage of sand added to allow proper drainage. We ensure quality by screening our topsoil with 1/4" screen. Specifically formulated for any type of planting - grass, flowers, shrubs, garden - our topsoil is guaranteeed to grow any type vegetation!

MULCH

HARDWOOD MULCH

Naturally dark brown in color, Hardwood Mulch is made from a variety of trees. Shredded and chipped from trees in the area, this natural product enhances landscaping and helps prohibit the growth of weeds in flower gardens, rock gardens and along paths.

BARK MULCH

Another popular variation is Bark Mulch, which is made from just the bark of the tree. Differing from hardwood mulch, the texture of Bark Mulch is more shredded than chipped.

RED COLORED MULCH

A decorative addition to your landscape, this hardwood mulch is dyed a red color that will enhance the look of your property.

BLACK COLORED MULCH

Black Mulch is also a dyed version of hardwood mulch. Chosen by homeowners for its aesthetic properties, Black Mulch can add a dramatic look to landscaping.

Another natural mulch product, reddish-brown in color, our Hemlock Mulch is made from local Hemlock and Pine trees.

DECORATIVE STONE

RIVER STONE (3")

River Stones are naturally rounded stones gathered from riverbeds. Attractive and practical, Riverstones add a decorative look and also are used to increase drainage in wet areas. Often used around pools, the 3" River Stones are smooth and easy to walk on.

RIVER STONE (1-1/2")

Another size of River Stone, the 1 1/2" size can be utilized for decorative landscaping or to increase drainage of wet areas. This size is especially attractive in ponds.

RIVER STONE (3/4")

Our smallest size of River Stone, the 3/4" is most often used under decks for drainage and to prevent vegetation from growing.

RED STONE (3/4")

Red Stone is crushed stone and is used for decorative purposes.

CRUSHED STONE (3/4")

Utilitarian stone, this crushed stone product is used mainly under sheds and behind walls to create proper drainage conditions.

QUARRY PROCESS

This crushed stone, known as Quarry Process, is used for driveways. From the pressure of vehicles driving over it, the Quarry Process becomes firmly packed and can serve as an unpaved driveway. It is also a firm base for paving.

STONE DUST

Stone Dust is grayish in color and is mainly used as a base for pavers. Additional Stone Dust used as a fill between pavers gives a neat, finished look to walkways and patios.

MASON SAND

Our Mason Sand can be used for a variety of home projects. It can be used as a bed and filler with pavers. Many customers use Mason Sand to create a smooth surface on which to construct above-ground pools. And of course, Mason Sand is idea for any cement or concrete project.

FILL DIRT

Fill dirt is the layer of earth directly beneath the topsoil. Mostly 'dead' sand, Fill Dirt has no nutrient quality so it is not used for gardens. Rather, fill dirt is used to raise the property to a desired level, and then a thick layer of topsoil is added for planting.
